JKA MALTA SKA competing at 4th Torneo Columbus Cup 1492 vs South America
Between 8th and 9th June 2019, 10 JKA MALTA SKA members together with Chief Instructor Sensei Edward Aquilina - 5th Dan JKA, participated in exceptional Training sessions led by Yoshizo Machida Sensei 8th Dan Chief Instructor of JKA Brazil (Father of the famous Lyoto and Chinzo Machida), Mitsuo Inoue Sensei 8th Dan Chief Instructor of JKA South America and Takeshi Naito Sensei 7th Dan Chief Instructor of JKA Italy. 2 members from each country including Sensei Paul Falzon and senpai Yuki Nocilla from JKA MALTA SKA, were also selected to participate in a Friendly competition between competitors from Italy, Malta, Read more…
International JKA Cup 2019 in Bottrop (Germany) by Hideo Ochi – November 2019
Bottrop, GermanyJKA MALTA SKA would like to congratulate 4 of its members who competed at the renowned JKA Cup in Germany that is held every year by Hideo Ochi Sensei 9th Dan JKA Germany and JKA Europe Chief Instructor.
Our members fought with pride to represent Malta and JKA MALTA SKA with Paul Falzon winning 2nd place in Men’s Kumite, Leanne Falzon 1st Place Kumite and 2nd place Kata in Females over 30, Yuki Nocilla 1st Place Female Kumite 21- 29 years category and Yanes Nocilla 2nd place in Team Kumite after being selected to fight for one of JKA Germany’s teams.
