Members of JKA WF MALTA recently represented Malta at the prestigious JKA European Championships in Bergen, Norway, held last weekend, from 8th to 9th May 2026.
The event brought together some of the finest traditional Shotokan athletes from across Europe, creating a highly competitive environment and an excellent platform for international exchange.
Competing against strong and experienced opponents, the Maltese team demonstrated determination, discipline, and a commendable fighting spirit throughout the tournament. Their performance reflected not only their technical preparation but also the resilience and focus developed through consistent training and dedication to the art of karate.
It was also a great experience to share this journey with their teammates from JKA Malta, strengthening the sense of unity and camaraderie within Malta’s Karate community.
The participation of JKA WF MALTA at this level is a testament to the steady growth of traditional Karate on the island.
Their presence at the European Championships marks another important step forward for the organisation, inspiring younger practitioners and reinforcing Malta’s place within the wider JKA Karate community.
