JKA WF Malta Develops NGO Administration Platform with SIS Scheme Support

JKA WF Malta, a non-profit sports organisation, has successfully developed a dedicated online administration platform with the support of funding received through the Small Initiatives Support Scheme (SIS), managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS).

The platform, developed under the working title Project Overseer, was designed to address the administrative challenges faced by Maltese NGOs in managing their day-to-day operations. Built specifically around the needs of JKA WF Malta’s multi-club structure, the system provides a centralised hub for managing member records, membership fee statuses, payment schedules, and receipting, all within a secure, role-based online environment.

Key features of the platform include full member detail management, a quarterly membership fee tracking grid, automated receipt emails upon payment registration, and an annual reports dashboard aligned with the data requirements of NGO Annual Returns under Maltese law. The system also incorporates a full audit trail, recording every data change made by any user across the organisation.

The SIS Scheme, supported by the Ministry for Inclusion and the Voluntary Sector, is designed to assist voluntary organisations in funding small but impactful initiatives that can be sustained independently for at least two further years, making it a fitting vehicle for a system that will continue to serve the organisation’s administrative needs well into the future.
