Excellent Results for SKA-MALTA Competitors in Vieste, Italy, August 2017

SKA-MALTA members with Sensei Edward Aquilina SKA Chief Instructor, Sensei Naito Takeshi JKA Italy Chief Instructor and Sensei Izumiya Seizo JKA Japan HQ Instructor, Vieste August 2017

Between the 25th and the 29th of August 2017, 29 SKA-MALTA members attended the International JKA Italy Gasshuku in Vieste, accompanying SKA Chief Instructor Sensei Edward Aquilina, with so far, the biggest number of SKA Maltese Representatives participating abroad.

Training was held over three days, with Instruction being led by JKA Italy Chief Instructor, Sensei Naito Takeshi, 7th Dan and the remarkable visiting Instructor Sensei Izumiya Seizo, 7th Dan JKA Japan Headquarters Instructor in Tokyo.

Also a proud moment for all our SKA members, when during the First JKA Italy Centro Sud Championship, our SKA Competitors achieved excellent results; with Sensei Paul winning 1st Place Senior Male Kumite, senpai Leanne 1st Place Senior Female Kumite, Sensei Keith 3rd Senior Kata, senpai Yanes 3rd Senior Male Kumite and senpai Graziella 3rd Female Kumite.

Another memorable experience for all our 29 members who constantly exerted themselves to the best of their abilities throughout the Gasshuku, giving a remarkable demonstration of powerful technique and Spirit that did not go unnoticed by all those present.
