It is with great pleasure for SKA to introduce and once again formally welcome top JKF Kumite Competitor and 2015’s JKA Germany Kumite champion to Malta; our highly esteemed guest, Ms Yuki Fujita.

Ms Fujita first came to Malta last July, joining our five days a week SKA training schedule throughout the Summer months. During this time she exhibited great enthusiasm, constant commitment and an indomitable drive for hard training, sharing our passion for Karate, the true Budo Way.

On returning to Japan last October, SKA was delighted at the news that Ms Fujita had immediately decided to come back to indefinitely continue training and promoting true Karate alongside SKA – Shotokan Karate-Do Association in Malta.

At only 22 years of age, Ms Fujita has already gained many Kumite Championship titles locally in Miyagi Prefecture and North-East districts in Japan and also became JKA Germany’s Kumite Champion twice in 2014 and 2015.

Ms Fujita’s karate journey began 7 years ago, training 7 days a week under the instruction of highly respected JKF Sensei Wachi, at her local high school. She later moved to Dusseldorf, Germany at 18 years of age during which time she trained under the instruction of JKA Germany’s, Sensei Shimizu Keigo at Yamato Dojo.

Ms Fujita is now training at our SKA dojos in Tarxien Nakama Dojo and MCAST, Paola. We are pleased she has decided to return to Malta after her experience training here last Summer and we would all like to wish her a great start to her new future in Malta.
