We must inform you that we decided “Funakoshi Gichin Cup 15th Karate World Championship Tournament” which was scheduled to be held this year from October 23rd to 25th at Takasaki Arena should be postponed until next year because there is no sign that the worldwide coronavirus pandemic is being brought under control. We understand that it is very disappointing thing for all athletes who have been trained hard and all concerned people who have prepared for long time for this event, but your understanding will be highly appreciated. We are now planning that the postponed event will be held in around the same period of 2021. Soon after the new schedule will be decided, we will inform you all. As for the “The 16th Gichin Cup” will be held in 2023 without any change. We hope you all take care of your life and health very much.
