During the month of January, two SKA Members, Clayton Scerri and Janice Scerri, travelled to Germany to participate at Sensei Shinji Akita’s Winter Training – KANGEIKO 2018 – in the beautiful city of Limburg.
Winter Training is usually carried out in the early hours of the morning during the coldest time of the year. Training in such hard conditions is a Japanese tradition believed to improve individuals by pushing them to their limits both physically and mentally and is a commitment to hard training throughout the rest of the year.
JKA MALTA SKA would like to once again thank Sensei Shinji Akita and all Sakuragaoka members for their warm welcome, superb hospitality and kindness that was shown to our members during their stay in Germany, and for giving our members this unique opportunity to participate in such a unique and challenging experience.
