Between 8th and 9th June 2019, 10 JKA MALTA SKA members together with Chief Instructor Sensei Edward Aquilina – 5th Dan JKA, participated in exceptional Training sessions led by Yoshizo Machida Sensei 8th Dan Chief Instructor of JKA Brazil (Father of the famous Lyoto and Chinzo Machida), Mitsuo Inoue Sensei 8th Dan Chief Instructor of JKA South America and Takeshi Naito Sensei 7th Dan Chief Instructor of JKA Italy.

2 members from each country including Sensei Paul Falzon and senpai Yuki Nocilla from JKA MALTA SKA, were also selected to participate in a Friendly competition between competitors from Italy, Malta, Japan – from the renowned Komazawa University – and Spain VERSUS the South American Continent: Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil – with Sensei Paul Falzon winning Ippon against Chile and senpai Yuki Nocilla winning 2 matches against Paraguay and Italy.

An honourable representation for Malta and an unforgettable experience for all.
